A pioneering producer of gluten and allergen free foods, Jovial Foods has built a product line based on imported einkorn — nature’s original non-hybridized wheat. The 22,336 sf warehouse was fittingly designed to resemble a barn with vertical plank siding. The adjacent 3,272 sf administration building is constructed with traditional timber framing, in the style of a colonial home with cedar siding and a cedar-shingle roof.
This new headquarters is situated on the John Randall Homestead, known as Randall’s Ordinary, one of North Stonington’s most famous sites. The property includes the circa-1685 Randall House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
