Carlin Construction provided an addition to the existing Guilford House Skilled Nursing Facility. The new Assisted Living facility is comprised of twenty-one (21) studio residential apartment units. A total of approximately 18,000 square feet was constructed on two levels. The lower level is constructed as a structural steel and the upper floor is a wood framed structure. There are common areas on each level that will accommodate multi-purpose activities such as dining and social activities. There is a two-stop elevator that connects both levels and the entire addition is handicap accessible. Construction included an Occupational Therapy Kitchen. The addition is provided with fire protection sprinklers. Sitework was included to support construction of the new addition, as well as other complimentary improvements.
